Who say doing business in India is difficult?

The most important is how to negotiate in doing business in India! And here i ll share with you guys some of the tips and stay tune! 😊

India has a various state in the country. Also same to religion, beliefs, norm, etc. So the first is we need to know do and don'ts in there! Before get started to doing business! Read this to know more!


DO's 

• Do business planning - You should start organizing meetings well in advance since they will very likely have to be postponed to later dates at least once. Keep in mind that even though Indians tend to show up late for meetings, they will expect you to be punctual. For advice, do the appointment 1 month in advance!
• Be prepared in India culture- Culture are most important in each Indian people. Also religion. In India they are many various of culture, religion, belief, norm, etc. So, as the partner to be in India, we must to learn all their belief and others. They will be judge you in term of that ways to. so, be careful!
• Tittle are important- Its is the most important in hierarchy in India.  Indian societies attaches a lot of value to status, so people in positions of power often have more room to play with than the average citizen. For example, people who are doctors, sir, mister, professor should be addressed accordingly.

DON'Ts

• Do not wear tight or revealing clothing- Indians adopt a very conservative standard of dress, particularly in rural areas. Western dress standards, including jeans on women, are now prevalent in major cities. However, to be decent, you should keep your legs covered. Also, avoid wearing strapless tops anywhere. Beware!
• Do not point your finger or feet to Indian people- To them, its so rude and disrespectful. They are not agreed or want to make business if we are rude person.  If you accidentally do so, you should apologize straight away. Also, note that Indians will often touch their head or eyes as a show of apology. On the other hand, it's a sign of respect to bend down and touch an elder person's feet in India.
• Do not overlook your body language- Women don't touch men in India when meeting and greeting them. A handshake, which is a standard western gesture, can be misinterpreted as something more intimate in India if coming from a woman. The same goes for touching a man, even just briefly on the arm, while speaking to him. While many Indian businessmen are used to shaking hands with women these days, with giving word of   "Namastee" with both palms together is often a better alternative.

Business's Climate.

There are many business climates which is agriculture, food processing, technologies, petroleum industry. They mostly used all of this to make deals with outsider in the term of enlarge their business potential and make more profit to their country. They also use varieties of method to keep them in the rank of the production in the world. Nowadays, with this types of business, they can attract foreign investment. 

Economic&Politic.

The type of economy in India is mixed economy. India is the 3rd largest world in term of purchasing power. Nowadays in the era, India has up and downs in the economy but mostly high because of all factors that an make the country now fast-growing than other country except China. Politic are concentrated in framework of a parliamentary systems that federal and a democratic republic. politics are also based on multi-party system that are followed on British Westminster of government. 

Challenges of doing business.

As we know, there are many challenges of doing business in other country. It's ups to us how to tackle the challenges. So here i'll compile a little bit of the challenges. So yeah! So, the challenges is how to start a business, the weather in the country, communication style, risk of bribery and corruption. actually there has a lot of challenges but in these cases, when i do some research that it might be in India is these and others. With these challenges, some of company that cannot take risks will close or not open their company in India or else it might be spend a lot of money in the company.

Impact of business practices.

When doing business, we requires to understands of its culture and business practices. The impacts is the attitudes toward time and meetings will make they think we are interested to do business, exchanging business card to get know each others, make meeting at the proper places to comfort them and etc. So with these impact, we can know how to understand the Indian peoples. 

Strategy managing across culture.

They only used 2 strategies which that i have been doing some research. It is polycentric predisposition and seniority. Polycentric predisposition can be defines as management that are tailored to suit the culture of the countries where the MNC operates. While seniority is the tittle in the company are the most important. There are more of strategy that they use based on the company itself.

Tips for business operating success.

The tips for business operating successful is depends on the people in the organizations itself actually. Here some tips that can be given or you guys can follows which is localized the product based on consumers need and wants, put affordable price based in that country, make a very good relationship with Indian people also the most important one is respect! Because hierarchy is the most important in Indian people. Without it, you will lose your company and profit or in the else of  word is BANKRUPT! So there actually many of tips that you guys can get. Doing some research before starting the business okay!
